Smoking

It’s not cute anymore!

You spent years constantly on the go, racing to get somewhere. Your life slowed down, and you finally had a chance to breathe.

One day, you walked into the bathroom, stood in front of the mirror, and looked at yourself. The more you looked at yourself, the longer you stood there looking at the person you saw in the mirror. The more you stared at this person in the mirror, the more you disliked the image looking back at you.

You had aged, and it wasn’t because you were getting older. Years of smoking had caught up with you.

Wrinkles were forming on your face, neck, and chest.

The color of your complexion was looking grim. Your hair looked flat, damaged, and had thinned out. You used to show off your pearly white teeth when you smiled; and now, when you smile, your teeth have a yellow-tinted coat to them.

Who am I?

There are days you feel like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Although you are an adult, you feel like a child sneaking around trying to hide that you smoke from your parents. Only now, you try to hide it from everyone around you.

Every day, you are constantly sneaking off to light up and take a puff of something to try to relax – saying that you are going for a walk at work or home. Even in extreme heat, frigid cold, or pouring down rain, it doesn’t matter. When not going for walks, you hide behind buildings, trees, and other large objects, so people don’t see you as if you are playing the game of ‘Where’s Waldo?’

You make excuses for avoiding places where you can’t smoke, and the list of reasons keeps getting longer and longer. You drive with the windows down, your arm and head practically hanging out, making sure that you don’t blow the smoke in the car.

You keep the notorious smoker’s camouflage kit in your car, at work, and of course, at home. This kit has gum, mints, travel size mouth wash, citrus air freshener, and fragrance that you can spray on yourself to mask the smell of smoke.

You are a smoker pretending to be a non-smoker.

It’s affecting my health.

You wake up in the morning with a tight chest and challenged breathing. But even though you have a hard time breathing, you start your daily routine by reaching for a cigarette.

Spending time with your children means the world to you. At one time, you enjoyed going to the park, taking trips to the mountains, and playing in the backyard. Now, rather than participating with your children as they stay active and have fun, you watch from the sidelines because your lung capacity isn’t there anymore.

For a while, you tried to play off how you felt by taking breaks and blaming it on your age. It wasn’t too long before your struggles became real, causing you to face the fact that you could no longer be physically active like you used to be.

You can’t keep doing this. You want to see your children get older, get married, and have children of their own.

Stop smoking through hypnotherapy.

Imagine looking in the mirror and falling back in love with the reflection you see. Think about what you would look like if you could slow down the aging process because you no longer have the chemicals from cigarettes filling your lungs and body.

Imagine breathing with ease while going for long walks without having to take breaks or reconnecting with your kids and no longer sitting on the sideline watching them play.

It’s time for a fresh start!

Hypnosis can help you break free from those bad habits and take control of your life. Rediscover your true identity and be genuinely honest to your friends, family, but most of all, to yourself.
