People in my family don’t seek help, we’re told to figure it out.
We’re told or under the impression that if we seek help, there’s something wrong with us. I assure you that nothing is wrong with seeking help.
You’ve already experienced enough heartache and pain; you don’t need to keep torturing yourself by not getting help to get you through these troubling times.

Often, people tell us that what we’re going through is normal.
In the grand scheme of things, what you’re going through could be considered normal. It doesn’t mean you have to accept it and stay in a place of unhappiness.
I feel like I’m different.
When we want something out of the ordinary from the expected, we feel like an outcast or black sheep in the family.
It’s Ok to stand out and do something different because you don’t necessarily fit into a specific mold.
I know what I want but can’t seem to move forward.
It’s typical for us to feel stuck when we start to charter into unknown territory.
As we venture down this path, fear tends to kick in and disguise itself as procrastination.
It keeps me up at night.
Fear, self-doubt, rejection, or lack of confidence can have you tossing and turning, keeping you up at night.

I understand you may be wrestling with so many thoughts, trying to decide if you should seek help. There’s a greater sense of joy seeing people happy because they have mental clarity, peace, and success at what they want out of life. If you want help, I will help you, but I cannot make you do anything you don’t want to do.
As men and women, life expects us to suck it up and handle things in our lives because of society, cultures, and beliefs. Reaching out for help is sometimes considered a sign of weakness, but it’s a sign of strength and courage.
Having the courage to admit you don’t have the solution and can’t do it yourself makes you stronger and wiser. Together, let’s lighten that load of burdens you’ve been carrying around.
Decide to make the change.

Change occurs by overcoming mental entrapment.
During my 20+ years as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor, I saw the daily struggles of people wanting to lose weight. Although their struggles, ages, ethnic groups, and religious backgrounds varied, the one thing that remained the same was the entrapment of their mind.
All of us have experienced life’s struggles, felt lost, alone, overwhelmed, or even confused at some point in our lives, including myself.
I spent years suffering in silence with skin problems. People questioned why I was wearing all white or tan clothes. Although I told them that my skin was sensitive to the dyes in clothes, chemicals in products, and foods, I did not let them know the extent to which I suffered from these products.
Eventually, I learned that events in my life, such as several car accidents, caused me to experience mental and physical pain over the years. As a result, that pain led me to be very sensitive to chemicals. Finally, with hypnosis, I cleared my skin by letting go and taking back control of my life.

We all deal with the stressors in our lives in our way. I repressed mine, and it showed up in my skin. Others eat, smoke, disconnect, isolate themselves from those around them, and experience anxiety.
My mission is to help people get healthy and fit mentally through individual and group sessions, by guiding my clients from an incapacitated state to a life where they flourish and rise to unlimited possibilities.

When I’m not helping others, I combine my love and passion for mental and physical health into my own life in staying mentally and physically fit.
I love reading, journaling, doing self-hypnosis, weight lifting, indoor and outdoor cycling, and other fitness activities.
But most of all I love sitting, relaxing, and watching the deer. They bring so much peace, joy, and tranquility to my mind, body, and soul.
